Yes: Anthropic's Claude desktop app is the official one, and its Code tab runs Claude Code with a graphical interface on a folder on your Mac, with no terminal needed. It needs a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise subscription, comes as a universal build for Intel and Apple silicon, and runs the same engine as the Claude Code command line, so you can use both on one project. It shows Claude's changes in a diff view, can preview the app it is building, and watches a pull request's checks. Grux OS is not a Claude Code app. It is a free, open source (MIT) Mac agent that works with Claude Code in two ways: tell Grux what to change about Grux itself and it writes a work order your coding agent, Claude Code included, carries out, stopping for your yes up to three times; and it reads your Claude Code session logs to fold that work into its record of your day. Use the Claude app to drive Claude Code. Use Grux for an agent across the rest of your Mac that Claude Code can rewrite.
