What loads when you open this site
One HTML file from this domain, and its icons. Nothing we wrote loads a web font, an analytics script, a tag manager, an embedded video, a social widget, or a testing or personalisation tool. This page in particular runs no JavaScript at all.
That is enforced rather than promised. Every page here sends a Content-Security-Policy
of default-src 'none' with connect-src 'none', and the only
executable script the policy permits anywhere on this site is one specific inline
block on the home page, pinned by its hash. That block marks which section you are
reading in the top bar and does nothing else. Your browser is not permitted to run
anything else, or to send a request to any origin at all, this one included, even if
a future edit tried to make it.
Two things belong here rather than in a footnote, because you can see them in the page source and a policy that did not mention them would be wrong. The host that serves this site appends two script tags to every page after we hand the file over: a web analytics beacon, and a bootstrap for its bot detection. Neither is ours and neither runs. The policy above refuses both, which you can confirm in your own browser's console, so no measurement is taken and nothing about your visit is reported from your browser to anyone.
No cookies are set by this site or by that host. Measured on the live response: no
page here returns a Set-Cookie header of any kind.
Nothing is written to local storage or session storage either. There is no account, no login and no visitor identifier of any kind, so there is nothing here that could recognise you on a second visit or link one visit to another.
Nothing on this site collects anything
There is no form, no field and no button that sends anything anywhere. The only outbound thing the home page offers is a link to GitHub, which you have to click, and which is an ordinary link to somebody else's site rather than a request made on your behalf. Once you are there you are reading GitHub's policy, not this one.
The download itself is served by GitHub, not by this site, so this site does not see that you took it and has no count of its own.
The waiting list that used to be here, and what became of it
Until August 22, 2026 the home page carried a form for the desktop agent's waiting list. Grux OS 1.0 has now shipped and is free to download, so the form has been removed along with the endpoint behind it. Nothing on this site can collect an address any more.
Saying only that would be the flattering version. Addresses submitted before that date still exist, so here is the whole of it. Each submission sent the address you typed, the address of the page you arrived from if your browser sent one, and the two letter country code the network edge attached. Your IP address was never included and was never passed on. The form posted to this site and nowhere else, and the address was then handed on from our server, never from your browser, to a third party event and analytics service in the United States, which recorded it as a single event. There was never a database behind it, so there is no customer record to look up and a removal is carried out by hand against that analytics record.
It was only ever going to be used for one message, when the agent shipped. It was never sold, rented, shared with anyone for their own use, or used to build a profile. If you are on it and would rather not be, the next section is how to get off it.
Server logs
Requests reach a host before they reach this page, and that host processes the ordinary connection data every web server sees: IP address, user agent, the path requested and the time. That is a function of being reachable on the internet rather than a choice made here, and none of it is joined to a waiting list address.
Getting removed, and what else you can ask for
Mail jack@dotcomjack.com and say which address to remove. No reason is needed.
If you are somewhere that gives you a right to access, correct, port, or delete what is held about you, or to object to its processing, exercise it at the same address. The honest scope of that here is whatever the old waiting list holds for you, which is at most one email address, one referrer string and one country code, and nothing else. If you never submitted that form, the answer is that nothing is held about you at all.
Children
This is developer tooling for macOS. It is not directed at children, and no age information is collected because no information is collected by this site at all.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no mailing list to announce it on, which is the point.
