Warp is a terminal built around coding agents, free to start and open source under AGPL-3.0; Grux OS is not a terminal but an agent whose shell commands can be undone. Warp's free tier includes its modern terminal, its Agent CLI and the option to bring your own AI; paid plans start at $20 a month with credits for frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic and others. Grux OS (MIT) opens shell sessions in a folder you choose and snapshots the folder into a separate git repository before any command that could write, so you can roll a mistake back. A denylist covers credentials and private folders, anything that touches the network, deletes or spends waits for your approval, and every file read is logged. Use Warp as your terminal. Use Grux when you want an agent to run commands on your Mac with a way back.
