An Ollama GUI for Mac is any app that puts a window on the models Ollama runs on your own machine, and there is a whole family of them. Ollama ships its own Mac app (MIT) for chatting with a model directly. Native Mac clients include Enchanted (Apache 2.0), a SwiftUI app for macOS and iPhone, and macai (Apache 2.0), which talks to Ollama and ChatGPT side by side. Cross-platform desktop apps such as AnythingLLM (MIT) add document chat on top. Commercial Mac apps including Msty, BoltAI and MindMac connect to Ollama too. Grux OS (MIT) is the agent in the group: it finds a running Ollama by itself, recommends models your Mac can actually run, installs them through Ollama, and then uses that local model to act on your mail, calendar, files and shell from one Command Panel. Every one of these apps can share a single Ollama install, so nothing you ask leaves the Mac.

Every app in the table except Grux OS is listed in the Community Integrations section of Ollama's README, which is the best place to find the long tail.
http://localhost:11434 and reads the installed models from /api/tags. The address is configurable in Settings.llama3.2:3b.brew install ollama

brew install --cask dotcomjack/tap/grux
If you want to talk to a model, a chat client is the shorter path: Ollama's own app or Enchanted on a Mac, AnythingLLM if your documents matter most. If you want the model to do things on your Mac, read mail, file events or run commands you can roll back, that is what Grux OS is for. They are not exclusive. All of them can point at the same Ollama.
